The 2011 Midwest Birding Symposium is scheduled for September 15–18. Hosted by Bird Watcher’s Digest, The Ohio Ornithological Society, and the Lakeside Association, the 2011 Midwest Birding Symposium (MBS) is expected to draw over 1000 birders from all over North America.

With more than 20 speakers and daily activities including bird walks, boat tours, Bird Watcher’s Market and Gallery and book signings this year’s MBS is the place to be in mid-September!

Symposium sponsors include Swarovski, Leica, Nikon, Kowa, Zeiss and Eagle Optics, so if you’ve had your eye on some new optics this year, this is THE place to try them out…and who knows? Maybe there’ll be a deal or two floatin’ about.

Session topics include how to bird, why to bird, where to bird, who to bird with, how to feed birds and how to buy optics.

I’m looking forward to to seeing you there!
